Zell Parts - a rising Company
The company´s history began in 1949 when Dr. Rudolf Klepsch Sen. – an exiled Sudeten German from Aussig, Czechoslovakia – ventured from his home country to Zell am See and leased the Brandstätter bronze foundry in order to start a new life. At that time, the production of bronze semi-finished products represented the main business of the ZELL-Metall company.
When Dr. Rudolf Klepsch traveled to the Netherlands in 1951, he became aware of the new material polyamide and immediately recognized that this would be competition to bronze and other non-ferrous metals. In 1955 ZELL-Metall became the second company in Europe to start up extrusion and injection molding of polyamide. Five years later the company moved to it´s current location in Kaprun. Since then the product range has continuously increased, for example with POM in 1964, PET ten years later and PEEK in 2001. Several pioneering innovations, such as the first functioning oil filled cast polyamide (1974) or the first nano-particle filled POM and polyamide semi-finished products stem from the Zell-Metall company.
The original core business, the production of bronze semi-finished materials became over the course of time ever less important and was finally ended in 1986.
Zell Parts by Klepsch GmbH & Co KG
The production of finished parts began in 2003 from the production of prototypes in Zell-Metall, since then it has been Zell-Metall GmbH´s profit center. Zell Parts by Klepsch GmbH & Co KG, a member of the Klepsch-Group, mainly produces CNC finished parts made of plastic. In 2017 the company was hived off the Zell-Metall GmbH company.
With our high-tech CNC milling and CNC turning machines we produce finished parts mainly made of ZELLAMID® semi finished products and ship them all over the world. Of course we process any kind of thermoplasts.
In order to satisfy the rising demand and requirements of our clients, we have developed our own application technology and thanks to Senco Research & Development GmbH & Co KG (member of the Klepsch group), we have access to comprehensive F&E-Ressources.
Our company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and we are continuously anxious to raise our quality- and environmental standards.
